For our 30 plus year history, we have successfully crafted renovations of any size. From a bathroom update to deck additions to a full gut renovation, we have the expertise to build renovations that truly add value to existing properties. Multi-tenant Residences

George Shaeffer Construction has a long history and substantial experience with enhancing Private Residences within a development. We have built numerous residences within existing condominium developments and multi-family communities, creating beloved spaces and increasing value. Understanding how to work with a Home Owners Associations and the building operations are keys to successfully delivering a beautiful residence within a condominium or private club.

Commercial

Though the years we have built commercial spaces: from retail spaces to tenant improvements to full commercial buildings. Our skill and expertise in the residential market translates into commercial spaces that just “feel different” and are more special. Our philosophy of focusing on the details, understanding how the customers interact and use these spaces, and being cognizant of how the space fits into the business model has produced a loyal base of commercial clients through the years.

Preconstruction

By working closely with the design teams and clients throughout the design and construction phases of the project, the Preconstruction Department is an invaluable member of the team. The Preconstruction Department lays the foundation for success by establishing an accurate budget, developing a detailed schedule, as well as providing the team with recommendations necessary to make important decisions in a timely manner.

Our Preconstruction Department provides comprehensive preconstruction services that include:

Construction Services

Our Construction Service Group is responsible for executing the vision of our owners and designers. The transition from preconstruction to construction is seamless as our project managers and superintendents are involved in developing the project cost model and overall project schedule during the preconstruction phase. Throughout the entire process, we pride ourselves in providing the right information at the optimum time to facilitate decision making. As one of the most respected companies in the valley, we are able to provide our clients buying power with the subcontractor community as well as ensure that the manpower is available to build a premium home in a timely fashion.

Our Construction Services Group provides the following services:

Post Construction

At George Shaeffer Construction Company we believe that we are “married” to the homes we build and have established a Customer Service Department to ensure that our clients and their homes are supported and maintained. To meet our clients ever changing needs, these services range from replacing a light bulb to renovations and additions. In the event that one of our homes is sold, our Customer Service Department will introduce themselves to the new homeowner and extend our services, thus ensuring the home performs as designed well into the future.

The Customer Services Department provides the following post construction services:

• Maintainability Reviews
• Snow Removal
• Renovations, Remodels, and Additions

As a steward of the environment, George Shaeffer Construction Company is focused on building sustainable, energy efficient, healthy homes that are both environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasing. Our LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professionals guide our clients thought the Eagle County EcoBuild guidelines as well as provide cost-benefit and life cycle analysis of all green options. At George Shaeffer Construction Company we enjoy providing creative solutions and new ideas in an effort to exceed our client’s expectations. We are also very proud to have recently completed a Certified LEED for Homes Remodel that is the first in the State of Colorado. In addition, we have installed a 10kW solar PV system on our home office.
